TRANSPORT FAQ

All transport from the day you arrive in SA to the day you need to be at the airport at the end of your trip is sorted. We’ll mainly be in our own safe and certified van with a qualified guide and driver but sometimes we might need to use the transport of an activity provider. Transport is only your responsibility if you choose to do any additional activities not included in our trip. For more details, Visit another section of Faq.

No, all flights to arrive and depart from South Africa are for you to organize and pay for. Book your flights after you’ve secured a spot on the date you want to join us and plan for either onward travel within SA or a return flight home to leave from PE on the last day of the trip. Normally we have enough space in the van and on the roof, if we’re a larger group we’ll hitch a trailer for everybody’s stuff. Don’t worry, you can bring that extra jacket you were going to leave behind.

We average about 100-150kms every second day on the trip. That works out to about 2 hours at most. We planned this trip so you don’t only see South Africa from the inside of a van, you’re outside and hands-on!
