A trip to South Africa isn’t complete without visiting the Mother City of Cape Town. We kick the trip off here and you should arrange to arrive here on the first day of the tour. We’re going to be busy while here, expect beautiful scenery, mountains, penguins, wine, beer, city sights, nightlife and loads of unique activities that we’ve planned to give you the best experience of this awesome city!
Route 62 has been listed as one of the world’s Top 10 road trips and we’re going to show you why. Mountain passes, quaint dorpies (towns), local hospitality and all round good vibes, this is the less popular route that connects with the Garden Route but an absolute must to really experience South Africa.
It’s time to reveal to you why so many people talk so highly of the Garden Route, it’s scenery is amazing and the unique accommodation, towns, beaches and activities we feature along the way are mind-blowing! Adventure, relaxation, nightlife and much more await!
We’ve got you covered for transport from the day you arrive to the day you depart. After you’ve booked your trip with us it’s time to sort out your flights. Let us know the arrival and departure dates so we can arrange for you to be fetched and dropped off on time.
We’ve got accommodation sorted. Hostels, hotels, private houses and camping in some of the most unique settings with great facilities just for you. All accommodation has been carefully selected for you to experience true South African hospitality. Accommodation is mainly shared but you’re welcome to ask for a private room along the way at a minimal additional cost.
Who wants to worry about cooking food when they’re on holiday? We’ll do it for you, most of the time. 22 Various meals are on us during the trip, sometimes we might ask for some help with the preparation but it’ll always be shared and part of the fun. After all, you couldn’t leave South Africa without knowing how to do a proper braai.
Transport in South Africa isn’t as accessible as in other countries. That’s why we’ve taken care of it. We’ve got a comfortable van and responsible driver that’ll take you from A to B during the duration of the trip and ensure you’re worry-free and enjoying the sights along the way. Remember the journey is half the fun and we’re going to make sure you’re loving it!
Part of the trip is learning about the country you’re exploring. We’ve got a knowledgeable (and all round great person) guide present throughout so that any questions, queries or concerns are answered quickly. We encourage curiosity and want to leave you fulfilled and informed about our great country.

WHAT'S EXCLUDED?
All flights are your responsibility to book. We recommend that you arrive on the morning of the first day, we’ve got nothing planned for the day so it’s ideal for you to rest off the jet lag before meeting the crew in the evening. Your flight out should be booked to leave from PE on the last day, or if you’re planning to stay longer in South Africa, we can help with any onward travel arrangements.
It’s best to be safe than sorry when travelling and we want you to be worry-free for the entire time you’re in SA. That’s why we insist that you take out a travel insurance policy for the duration of your stay in South Africa, you’ll sleep so much better at night. Before you arrive we’ll need a copy of the policy for our records. For the best providers, get in touch and we’ll help you out.
WHAT'S EXCLUDED?
All flights are your responsibility. We recommend booking the trip first before booking any flights. Once you’ve secured your spot on the trip, book your flight to arrive on the first day (morning or early afternoon is preferred) and we’ll be there to meet you at the airport. Your departure flight should be booked to leave from PE on the last day or if you’re planning to stay longer in South Africa we’ll help with onward travel plans.
We’re not saying anything is going to happen to you on the trip but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Please have a travel insurance policy taken out for the duration of your scheduled stay in South Africa, you’ll sleep so much better at night. We insist on having a copy of the policy before you arrive. For any information on the best providers, get in touch and we’ll assist.
